Sobering,

looking over and out

and Within

at Virtues and at Sins

and where does one begin

to explain what seems so obvious,

so simple

no need for kneeling Penitents

before some blood-soaked Temple;

painfully Honest

because the Truth hurts

forgive me,

if I call you on your shit

but feel free

to do the same for me

for we all need

Honesty in our Lives

to help us separate

the Wheat from the Chaff,

Truth from the Lies

for you can't always read

it in their eyes...
