Mist shrouded Moon
mourning her fate,
always fighting the light
though she knows it's too late
The light that reveals her
is the light she battles;
better to remain in darkness,
lurking in the shadows,
than be forgotten in the sunshine
We all must decide for ourselves
or sit, lonely and forgotten
misbegotten, if you will
As for me, as for now
i have had my fill
i have little pride left,
too many hills,
too many spills
Bitten my tongue
since i was young
and it did not help me or anyone
Taken insults thrown in anger
to my family i'm a stranger
Swallowed too many bitter pills
and the cure it seems
is ten times worse than the ill
so i remain,
as ever,
...
till whenever,
the fool still...
