Batten down the hatches,
make sure you secure all the latches,
let's not let this Tempest catch us unaware...
The sky is turning,
offshore, the storm is churning
but there is certainly more than meets this Eye
As the animals hunker
deep within their wooded bunkers
it still makes me wonder what barometer they use
For they know before we do,
they sense what we used to
all too sad and too true
that we have lost our way
Let the tumult take it all,
may the waves crash
and tear asunder all our walls
We have learned nothing since The Fall
if we can not recoginze Nature's cries and calls
