Pink on Fire (II)...

 Blood Orange sun
     melting a fiery pink puddle
in blue frosted crystal  sky
as i feel the warmth magnified
by the sliding glass doors
     closed against the winter weather...

Mounds of snow atop the fence line,
trees limbs groan under weight wind cannot dispel,
having to wait for successive days
of the sun's warm face to melt the snow
No tracks yet can i see,
     as Nature as well had a snow day;
all found naught to do but sit and grumble,
be humbled by the cold hand of winter
freezing all in there homes
till the white fury is done
Then comes the glory
    of the cold, blanketed earth
in the warmth of the sun,
    opposites attracting everyone...
