Friends and Acquaintances...

There is peace in the truth
     and, at times, pain as well
The lessons and what scars remain
     only persistence and time will tell
Opposites may attract but
     misery sometimes does love company as well
Hoping for self -absolution
     by sharing glimpses of my Hell
For it comes down to intent and what you meant
     not how it was taken
for relying on others to understand
     what you do not will leave your will shaken,
leaving you lying and crying in your bed
     feeling forlorn and forsaken
for reactions of friends to actions they don't understand
     making up their own conclusions
to questions they never bothered to asked
     i know but a few, at this moment, i believe i can trust
beginning to understand
     we should all be lucky to have as much...
