Non Datur ad Musas Currere Lata Via ( Narrow is the path that leads to the Muses )...

Listening to, but not watching the rain
as it drums its changing, window pane washing beat
against and upon the empty air conditioner cover
discovered hovering back and to the left,
back and to the left...back and to the left...
above but not directly, deftly stepping just to the side
the wind becomes a swirling tide
far too easy into blinding tempest,
i fear so soon it may become...

Ponce de Leon and Columbus shared a ship
     with related but different wishes
One was searching for the Garden of Eden,
the other for the ever youthful sip
We all want to be the one to roll away the stone
for without proof we're left with faith
and that path is narrow, the road is long...

Let's see who rises on the third day
what surprises, what miracles might it bring?
The first, the last, the oldest rabbit-hole
the test of faith, an offering
a pledge of allegiance, a show
when giving your word still meant something

  1. A LIGHT BENEATH THE WAVES.. A CHERISHED KISS.. MY FOMENT WISH.

WITH SUCH THOUGHTS I TOUCH YOUR FACE. AND THERE YOU ARE AGAIN.

MY STARTLING GEMMA. FOR HOW FAR YOU HAVE ROAMED I CAN NOT KNOW AT ALL. THAT YOU DID RETURN TO GREET ME WERE A REMINDER OF SOMETHING LEFT UNDONE. IT WERE NOT MY TIME IN THE WAVE JUST YET MY LOVE. I THANK YOU. AND I HAVE MISSED YOU.

    MY BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYED GIRL.
