Heat dissipating,
the waiting is over
as the suns sinks behind the horizon
Turn the fans around
to let the cool air in,
not the heat out
Limbs shout,
as the coolness settles
like the shade that brings respite,
despite the fact
the temperature is not much changed,
the heat shys from the shadows
leaving only it's memory lingering
on salty necks and faces,
traces of the weather remain
in remembrance of the day that was
and thoughts of the cool night yet to come
as even the moon in the sky
heaves a sigh of relief from the heat
brother sun gave....
