Who mentioned rage against the dying of the light
when not all darkness obscures?
Like the sensory deprivation you endure
in the world you have made for yourself
testing you virtues and beliefs
that flicker in the wind,
jumping to the same conclusions
that seem to come around again and again
For what would the world be without shadows?
Like a one-dimensional cartoon
made so much more comical;
no real substance,
just and image painted on a cave wall
to mirror the world without going into specifics...
Better into shadows peer
seek out and then confront your fears
Find the difference between sun and moon-shadows...
a poem from '90s again... kinda about mood swings and sharing your feelings... funny how different people read different things into what is written... hope you enjoy, dear readers... peace
